Each child is matched with an adult. They spend time one-on-one doing fun activities, building a long term relationship of trust, providing a positive influence on the children and improving their self-esteem and education.

MAS focuses on elementary school students. Teen and adult volunteers provide reading, mentoring and homework help one hour each week throughout the year.

We offer monthly club meetings at twelve Forsyth County middle and high schools to encourage school attendance and performance. A leading cause for student drop out is a lack of connection. Clubs help build that connection.
